Desert Coasties

The Desert Coasties gathered at American Legion Post 131 to honor WWII vet Thor Thorsen. We also enjoyed a presentation by Ivan Abrams representing the USCG Auxiliary Tucson Flotilla. Jim Taylor related his experience as a member of the USCG Pipe Band at this year's Coast Guard Day ceremony in Grand Haven, Michigan. Members brought Coast Guard memorabilia to display and discuss.
