ROBERT BROWN

I am interested in joining your shipmates. I joined the navy in 1956 and spent a four-year tour. My duty station was USS McClelland (DE 750) . I then joined the Coast Guard in 1960 and stayed in until 1976 when I retired as a ETCM. I had several duty stations: Ice Breakers Westwind, Burton Island, Kodiak Island; Brooklyn Supply Center; USCG Cutter Castle Rock; Group Atlantic City; Loran stations Attu Island and Port Clarence; Field Testing & Development Center and a few others. My favorite was the Burton Island, WAGB-283. I put two tours on her.
